ok where do i start.. i was going to bed after a long day, everything was as usual....
for once i wasnt going to have my nightlight on, i have a cute little lamp from ikea on my
nightstand that i use to have turned on because i hate the dark. anyways as soon as i turn it off i
hear a wierd noise from my balcony, dont think about it much because i hear that all the time..
i fall asleep..i wake up from a loud noise, sounded like a bomb was exploading next to my ear then my fire alarm goes off..
i panic and try so see something, but its pitch black..i feel i have something in my hair, little pieces of something.. i start to look for my cell and i pick it up from the floor fast and the fire alarm still going on loud..as soon as the light from my cell hit my bed i can see what happened, my lamp blew up! and the pieces in my hair was glas from
the lightbulb, the top of the lamp was lying in my couch across the room.. the smell of burning
plastic made me feel sick as i got up trying not to step in the glas, i still had to turn the
fire alarm off before the whole neighbourhood wake up..
i reach for the light switch on the wall
but just as i press it there is a loud boom and i realised there is no electricity in any of my
stuff.. in the dark i see a small red spot in the celing knowing its the fire alarm, i use my
phone to find my way, get a chair and try to press the little button thats on it, but it wont stop
the alarm.. i tear it down from the ceeling and rip out the battery.. then its all quiet, but i can
hear my neighbours woke up but i guess they didnt care to come over and ask what was
going on because the alarm stopped.. this was around 2 or 3 in the night.. i had to
carefully take a shower to get the glas out of my hair..
what a nice night huh, its wierd thought that the fire alarm went off at the same time as
the lamp blew up..and my firealarm is to far away to sense anything burning that quick..my firealarm is in the kitchen, and the lamp is in my bedroom. And the alarm was not actually making the real alarm sound, it was the test sound it makes when you press the button thats on it..and yes i checked the battery, its more than half full.. i checked and its 2 very diffrent sounds.. so who the hell pressed that button.. lol
but it scared the shit out of me, imagine waking up to that..
